This is a one-page worksheet built from a simple 3-tier framework (high, moderate, or low regulation), not a list of all 50 states' laws, since rules change too often for a static list to stay accurate. Instead, it organizes the four paperwork categories every tier touches.

## What's inside

Step 1 is a tier finder: three cards for high, moderate, and low regulation states, each with real example states (high includes New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Massachusetts; moderate includes Washington, Oregon, Virginia, and Ohio; low includes Texas, Florida, California, and most of the South and Mountain West) plus a blank line to write in your own state and tier.

Step 2 is a checklist of four categories most tiers touch in some form: notice of intent, testing or evaluation, portfolio or work samples, and records for high school. Each item has a checkbox and a short fill-in line for the specific date or method that applies to you.

## How to use it

Find your state on the tier cards and write your tier on the blank line. Then work through the four checklist items, filling in whichever fields apply to your state. Not every tier requires every item; leave a line blank if it does not apply to you.
